Shulman Hillel at the University of Iowa provides a calendar of events for January and February 2009. Events include a polar bear barbecue, student fair, yoga classes, blood drive, movie nights, discussions on human rights and tolerance, and opportunities to volunteer. Many events celebrate Jewish holidays like Tu Bishvat and Shabbat dinners. The calendar shows Hillel's commitment to bringing the Jewish community together through social, educational, and religious programming on campus.
