Idea 1 Light switch My idea is to show  people switching lights on. At the same time the electric bill is increasing, then people start turning off lights and the bill goes down. This will discourage people to keep wasting electric because it costs them money. Also there is a 12-14 kid asking his mum for money when the bill price is high and his mum says no as the bill will have to be paid instead but when they start to turn things off the bill goes down and the kid gets the money he wanted.
Aims of this. The aims are to show that people are wasting electric at their cost but then they change as they realize that it’s cheaper to save electric. To show that people change especially when it mainly affect them.
Message of ad This relates to the brief because it shows that people once wasted electric and then stop and change their lifestyle and save electric.
My target audience. In my ad there is a 12-14 year old which asks his mum for money and she said no because she had to pay the electric bill. Once they save electric the bill goes down and the boy asks again and his says yes because she has the money and the bill wasn’t dear. This will reach out to 12-14 year olds and they may catch on that helping their parents save money they can get money as well.
How I will create ad. I will probably use some iStopMotion or just record using a camera. I will maybe have to get someone or a group of people who can help me.
What campaign strategies will use. I think I will use Fear, guilt and humor.
Location I will film most or all of my ad at school as it’s a good location that has many different light switches so that they aren’t the same one all over and over again in my ad. Plus it has all the necessary equipment for me to do anything I need to do.
