1. A Poem: It Isn't Easy Being Me
It isn't easy being me.
People see me smiling, laughing, and looking glee.
It really isn't an act, that's just the way I am.
But They don't know and see the inner me.
You judge me by the way I act, sometimes to please others.
"Oh Norm's not that sick....look at him."
But spend a day in my shoes,
and believe me my friend, you will feel the blues.
Being sick since I was five years old, you never listened to me, or
showed me love.
You were and still are very cold.
Now at the age of 52, still battling life
No wonder I feel so old.
My heart is filled with love.
I thank the God above.
