An overview of our innovating way we are engaging with the NHS to help develop hard to find skills to ensure the availability of the right skills at the right time.
1. Introduction to IT Works Resource Group LTD
Becoming experts in our market
2. IT Works Resource Group (ITW) was set up over 10
years ago to deliver niche business/IT skills to both
the private and public sector. Our business model
and values has enabled ITW to grow with offices in
the UK and America.
ITW have been involved in delivering EPR
professionals to many programmes and are fast
becoming the go to people for EPR guidance and
market knowledge.

4. Having a proven track record of delivering rare
skills in EPR programmes to Vendors and the NHS.
ITW can clearly see that the future holds a distinct
lack of quality EPR skills in the market place
This will only drive costs up due to the supply and
demand. This will have a major factor on the quality
that Trusts can bring in.

5. Trusts are left with a dilemma...Either bring in
inexperienced people and train them to the
required level themselves or search for the
preverbal “needle in the haystack” that rarely exist
and when they do they cost over budget and are
rarely available when needed. Go Live dates don’t
change!

7. ITW are working with vendors and a number of
NHS clients to help develop more skills in the
market place enabling the NHS to have confidence
in brining in right people in first time. Ultimately
getting more rare skills for less rather than relying
on market forces.
ITW will invest in people bring a team together to
train on the relevant EPR to up skill and deliver fully
trained IT Works Consultants back to the market
place.

8. The first part of the programme involves delivering
EPR Train the Trainer to permanent ITW graduates.
This could be carried out on Site enabling the
graduates to integrated with the Trust earlier. ITW
would invest in a lead trainer to carry out the TTT.
On completion of the training, they become
professional IT Works consultants working
permanently for ITW on site at Trusts in a blended
environment of ITW professionals and the Trusts
own project team.

9. IT W have the flexibility to support Trusts through
peaks and troughs where we can aline resource to
where its needed most enabling trusts to share
the valuable resource and spread the skill and cost.
Once one project has been delivered at one trust
they would then move on to the next Trust having
been involved with a go live and can take that
valuable experience to the next project.

10. Ultimately ITW would be able to offer a blended
team of experience as the project team builds and
repeats itself as the engagements with more Trusts
develops. Our resource capabilities extend not only
into Training but Configuration, Business Process,
Validation and Project /Programme Management.
This would be based on the skills gaps at Trusts. ITW
would engage with Trusts and deliver a health check
matrix where upon the results delivery of the
requirements can progress. The ITW graduate
programme eradicates the “catch 22” hurdle of
placing skill short candidates at risk on NHS sites.
