Work Experience
Program Management Skills: Coordinated long-term features of programs for several U.S. Diplomatic
Missions and one franchise of a national tutoring company. Supervised & coordinated projects for these
programs as needed. Kept programming goals congruent with those of the organization while ensuring
programs maintain the creativity and flexibility necessary to meet the needs of program participants.
Examples:
Coordinated embassy community programs for U.S. Embassy Copenhagen to create role-appropriate
projects and seminars that supported both officers and their dependents. Included security for
Embassy dependents, welcoming and continuing training/orientation on a variety of subjects for
dependents, officers, and U.S. delegates to two international conferences. Also coordinated with local
organizations such as the Danish Living Institute and the Danish Royal Opera House to further
enhance offerings. Served on Embassy Country Team representing these programs.
Managed speaker requests from visiting European Union and NATO national delegations, as well as
European and U.S. university student groups for the U.S. Mission to the European Union (USEU).
Coordinated all speaker, site, and content assignments for approximately 100 groups yearly based on
their composition, areas of interest and base knowledge. Analyzed and regularly presented statistics
about groups, topics, speakers, and venue use for USEU Country Team.
Coordinated staff of up to 15 tutors, customizing tutoring programs these tutors used based on a
combination of standardized testing, student and parent consultations.
Instructional Design Skills: Analyzed, designed, developed, implemented and evaluated training systems
for a wide variety of clients and learners. ADDIE model employed as an iterative process, incorporating
