3. Amok: The Emblem of Cambodian Cuisine
Fish amok is a sublime combination of
fresh river fish (often snakehead) and
coconut cream, steamed in banana leaves.
It is absolutely delicious, moist and
elegant. The unique Cambodian
ingredient in this dish is Kroeung, a curry
paste, which gives it a distinct flavor. The
dish is served with a side of rice.

4. Khmer Red Curry: Cambodian Style Curry
The dish features, beef, chicken or
fish, eggplant, green beans, potatoes,
fresh coconut milk, lemongrass, and
kroeung. The Khmer red curry was
served with bread, which was
unexpected, though we later learned
that this is a remnant of the French
influence in Cambodia.

5. Lap Khmer: Lime-marinated Khmer beef
salad
Khmer beef salad features thinly sliced beef
that is either quickly seared or "cooked"
ceviche-style by marinating with lime juice.
Dressed with lemongrass, shallots, garlic, fish
sauce, Asian basil, mint, green beans and green
pepper, the sweet and salty dish also packs a
punch in the heul (spicy) department with
copious amounts of fresh red chilis.

6. Samlor Machu Trey
Sweet and sour fish soup is commonly
eaten as a main or used as a starter for
bigger meals. Its ingredients include fish,
garlic, lemongrass, celery, tamarind juice,
bean sprouts, pineapple and seasoning
with sugar, fish sauce, and salt.

7. Chicken Salsa Salad
Mixed lettuce, red tomato,
cucumber, carrot, deep fried
chicken with vegetable Salsa. You
can find this dish at Brown
Coffee and Bakery.

12. Le Moon Rooftop Lounge
Located in the touristic epicenter of city, the
riverside, our lounge offers a 270 degree view
of the 2 rivers (Mekong & Tonle Sap) plus a
good chunk of the city. Our team of bartenders
can make any generic and international
cocktail, moreover, they have created a series
of original cocktails that can only be ordered
here. The river and the wide open space before
our building allows constant flow of fresh air,
swiping the terrace, so it is never too hot !

In 2001, Griet Lorré founded The Shop
on Phnom Penh’s iconic Street 240. The
idea was simple. They have Food &
Drink, Chocolate Shop, Bakery. They
also available for catering and events.
The Shop Group is also a much-loved
part of the Phnom Penh community
serving both Cambodians and expatriates.

15. HOT POT
Chinese hot pot is the latest way to enjoy Asian
cuisine in a cook-it-yourself restaurant
experience. Diners can choose their own
ingredients (meats, seafood, veggies,
dumplings, and more) to dip into a simmering
cauldron of chili and spice-infused broths with
varying levels of heat. Delicious and soup-er
fun, this interactive, communal way to dine is
rapidly gaining popularity across the globe.

A salad is a dish consisting of a mixture
of small pieces of food, usually
vegetables. However, different varieties
of salad may contain virtually any type of
ready-to-eat food.

17. POKE
Poke is a raw fish salad from Hawaii.
Restaurants are coming up with the
creative ways to serve the dish like Poke
Pizza, Poke burrito.

18. Filipino Food
The country’s bold, spicy, and
sweet flavors, will take center
stage. Kamayan feasts highlight all
the goodies like whole roasted pig
or fried red snapper.

19. SOFT SERVE
Soft serve is a type of ice cream that is
softer and less dense than regular ice
creams as a result of air being introduced
during freezing. Soft serve ice cream has
been sold commercially since the late
1930s in the US.
