Vietnam as we know is
about 329,560 km² in
area but it does not
include the Hoang Sa
and Truong Sa islands, it
is larger than Italy and
almost the same size as
Germany.
The capital of Vietnam is Hanoi,
it is located in the north and is
the second largest city in
Vietnam, as the capital of
Vietnam for almost a thousand
years now.
Population of Hanoi is about 5
million people
Hanoi is considered
to be one of the
cultural centres of
Vietnam, where most
of the Vietnamese
dynasties had left
behind their imprint.

First of all, the Culture of Vietnam is one of the oldest cultures in the Pacific region. Vietnam's
culture had a lot of features, quite similar to the other people of East Asia and other countries in
the Pacific Ocean (such as Cambodia , Laos and Thailand)
Nowadays, the culture of Vietnam has changed from time to time. It’s combined between Eastern
culture and Western culture.
After that I will summarize some culture of Vietnam.

It takes place from the first day of the first month of the Lunar calendar (around late January or early February)
until at least the third day
Vietnamese people considered it as a time for relax and entertainment and prepare for the new.
Many Vietnamese prepare for Tet by cooking special holiday foods and cleaning their house.
Tet is the most important and popular holiday and festival in Vietnam.
