From research, it became very clear to me the type of layout used in a magazine
interview. Various of the magazine interviews had similar layout/structure. For
example, through out the research I noticed that music magazine interviews had; clear
background information about the artist, the also give a clear information about how they
met the artist/how the interview came about(to give the reader a bit of information).
Furthermore, most of the magazine interview follow the question and answer setup in order
to make it clear and very understanding to the reader. The research carried out as inspired
me and given me an idea of how to layout my interview.

During the interview I will love to make the voice of my artist clear to the audience and by
doing this, I will include some of their vocabulary to make it clear/give the reader an idea
of where the artist is originate from.
Prior to the interview:
Before the interview, the interviewer will need to have a clear background information about
the artist they are going to interview.

artist

Adrielle Smith burst onto the music scene in 2012 when
she was discovered by the biggest rapper in the game
Jay Z. We meet on 31st October, Halloween. She arrives
bursting to tell me about the costume she’s just bought:
‘It’s crazy.’ It’s her first time being interviewed for C-Lest
located in south London where it all began.
My outfit is crazy! Everyone knows me for my baggy
clothing and also strong image. ‘I am going to dress up
as let-eye from TLC so I got this baggy costume made
and OMG is off the hook, I can’t wait to take and
Instagram picture for all my fans to see’.

Hi Adrielle is great to have you here in C-Lest magazine. You have being living in LA for the past
years how it out there?

Hey C-Lest it feels good to be back, LA is such an amazing place I’m loving the weather and
everything about the place. But London will always be my home and nothing can change that.

Everything seems to be going great for you at the moment, how does it feel to have all this
success?.

It's all thanks to God...I came out of nothing and look at me now. The music is going great my
record label are great people and I am being treated really well and lovely.

what makes you different form other artist our there?.. what do you think you bring to the table?

I believe my unique style and how I present my music makes me different from other artist. I
respect and love everyone out there doing their thing, but I believe I bring something completely
different for the world to enjoy. And I do music that people can relate to... which allows them to
feel the passion and emotion that I will when performing the song.

Is the first time having you hear so we going throw lots of questions at you, alright?

No is absolutely fine I actually taught you guys will be mad actually buy hey.

No not at all you are always welcome, we love you here… so lets talk about the
album in which u released last month august 1st .

Yes the album is dope y’all, like I cant believe how great it turned out to be. Like
dang it sold around 10 million copies world wide, I’m so happy people love what I
bring out and I'm glad they can relate to it as well.

Who inspired you to peruse your dream of acting, singing, dancing and fashion?

I am inspired by so many artist y’all like I’m still young making my way up but in terms of singing I
would have to say, Whitney Huston like OMG she was such a talent lady…. May her soul rest in
peace. But mainly my inspiration is Ciara ad TLC definitely.

What would you be if you were not famous?

I think I would be a choreographer or a fashion designer

How was it working with Wayne?

It was such a great opportunity, everyone who has been a fan from the start will know that I have
always wanted to work with him, so for jay to make it happen was a blessing.

You sold out Madison square garden! Like that has to be the best thing yet since
you’ve been in the industry right?

Well beside having a #1 album, that has to be the second best thing that has
happened to me is like a dream come true! It still hasn’t sunk in yet but now that you
mentioned it I am so overwhelmed. I am going to make my fans really proud.


bless your soul, is great to see our young ones making it big... what should your
fans expect from this concert?

Thank you and thanks to all my fans who bought tickets and making this happen, I
promise to give you guys the best show ever. Is really great to see that people actually
like my music and love what I do, I am really horned.



well.. I will love to tell you but you know.. I cant say much you will have to wait and see..
