1) A man named Carter is dragged into an interrogation room by a CID officer and handcuffed to a chair. 2) Carter claims he is innocent but hears a voice (his conscience) telling him he is not and knows what really happened. 3) His conscience pressures him to do the right thing and admit what really occurred, saying innocent people could be blamed if he does not confess. Carter insists it was an accident and he was not the only one involved. 4) The camera then shows Carter is alone in the room, indicating he is talking to himself, not an actual conscience. He appears to be breaking down under the pressure.

1. Interrogation
Fade in to a dark room with blacked out windows and the door suddenly swings open and we see a
man being dragged in by a CID.
The room has one small table in the centre with a chair either side, one chair is slightly askew.. The
guy dragged in is dumped on the neat chair on the far side of the room according to the camera. The
camera is at a high level looking down on the room (surveillance camera).
CID
Sit down, and don’t move! We’ll be watching.
CID handcuffs Carter to the chair, and exits through the same door he entered through. Camera
moves to a close up of Carters face as he shouts.
CARTER
(Shouts) I’m bloody innocent!
Camera cuts to a side view of both chairs and the table, there is no one in the chair opposite, but
there is a voice coming from there.
CONSCIENCE
No you’re not, you know that.
Camera cuts to a view from over Carter’s shoulder, an angelic looking female can be seen only from
Carter’s P.O.V
CARTER
Who are…?
Camera cuts to behind the empty chair looking towards Carter
CONSCIENCE
Who am I..? I’m your..
Back to Carter’s P.O.V
CARTER
..My what, conscience or something?
Stays in Carter’s P.O.V
CONSCIENCE
Exactly, and I’m here to make you do the right thing, if you don’t own up to this, innocent people
will go down for this. You need to go down, you’re scum!
Camera cuts to the CCTV shot, to show he is not talking to anyone.
CARTER
I didn’t mean to, I wasn’t the only one..? It was an accident..? He slipped..? I was pushed..? I swear
I didn’t mean to!! IT’S NOT MY FAULT!!

2. CONSCIENCE
You’re going down for a long time Cater, There’s no way past this. You’re going crazy, it’s only you
that can see me, you’re talking to yourself!!
CARTER
I.. I can’t..
CID
Right lets get this over with…
