This document presents a methodology for interconnecting industrial multi-microgrids using bidirectional hybrid energy links facilitated by high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission. The proposed approach aims to enhance energy efficiency and productivity by minimizing operational costs through optimized energy transfer, featuring a modular multilevel converter that leverages both AC and DC links. A case study demonstrates the methodology's effectiveness, highlighting its potential to improve industrial energy management and flexibility in response to demand fluctuations.
