Integrated nutrient management is a tool to combat soil degradation by combining organic and inorganic sources of plant nutrients. It involves nitrogen fixation through legumes and other organic sources along with judiciously applied fertilizers. When done correctly, INM can replenish soil nutrients and improve soil health over time.
