Procedure for downloading and installing of Jeevan Pramaan Software
1. Go to http://www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in ==> Download Application ==> there are two links

2. How to set path
Download these two files. The screen shots will help for installation and setting path in the
system for operating the software.
2. Save the ZIP file(Jeevan Pramaan) and extract the files.
3. Installation of Drivers:
Important - Do not connect FINGER PRINT device before installation of drivers.
• Install drivers according to your windows operating system version
• Drivers=>32 Bit/ 64 Bit=>Drivers=> MorphoSmart USB Driver=>run setup file.
• Restart the PC
• Connect the device (Morpho Biometric Machine). The system searches the drivers and
shows the message for successful installation.
4. Installation of software:
• Installer run the application of JeevanPramaanInstaller.
• Icon of jeevanpramaan will be created on the Desktop.
5. Setting Environment Variables:
1. Installer will place the "FingerprintSensors" folder in C:drive. After installation if you
don't find this folder in C: drive, copy the "FingerprintSensors" folder present in "
C:drive”
2. Go to Control Panel=>System=> System Protection=>Advanced tab=>Environment
Variables
3. If the user path variable does not exists then create a new path variable “Path” and Add
the following lines in path and click ok.

5. Do the steps 3 above for the system variable also. Add the above lines in path variable.
6. Right click on the shortcut icon of Jeevan Pramaan application.
7. Properties=>Compatibility tab=>Privilege Level=> click for run this program as
administrator =>apply=>OK

• Enter mobile no and Aadhar No of the Operator.
• Enter the OTP generated in your mobile no.
• Enter name of Operator and email id of Operator and scan the finger print.
• The application will be closed and new screen for registration of pensioners will be
displayed.
7. Pensioner Authentication—
• Enter the Mobile no, Aadhar no and OTP of pensioner.
• In next screen enter the details of pensioner and scan the finger prints.
• On authentication, pensioner will receive a SMS and registration no./ Pramaan Id.
Note:
• For downloading and operating the software, please disable your Antivirus software.
First install the drivers and then restart the system And then install the application.
• Also ensure Microsoft. Net Platform 4.0 and Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 x86
redistributable as combatable with your OS should be installed on your windows 7 PC. You may
download these two software from google.
