3. Deserted – Potential Project

Deserted will take place in and around a very remote forest. This is our least favourite
of our two main ideas due to the location, we do not want to use a forest in our opening
as forests are quite generic when it comes to thrillers.

Deserted is a thriller in which a young couple go camping deep in the woods. However
a strange turn of events sees their romantic get away goes horribly wrong as an evil
killer is on the loose in the very same forest. The couple have to do what ever it takes
to survive and escape the killer.

4. The Daedalus Project – Potential
Project

Daedalus is Greek for ‘’good worker’’ which is what the character in our film has to
become in order to survive.

The Daedalus Project is an urban thriller which tells the story of a young middle class
19 year old who is forced into the unknown world of drugs. Although he is
inconspicuous in the world of drugs he soon has to face the harsh reality and
consequences of drug dealing.

The Daedalus Project will take place in Penge on an estate, and the whole opening will
be filmed around the same location. We chose this location as The Daedalus Project is
an urban thriller, we wanted to make an urban thriller as it is quite unusual as appose to
the generic thriller which is filmed in a forest etc.
