Authoring applications allow developers to integrate and synchronize different media elements, add interactivity, and deliver multimedia projects. They use authoring metaphors like cards, icons, and timelines to organize media and structure projects. The authoring process involves designing the project, importing content, creating and editing media, integrating elements, establishing navigation, programming interactivity, testing, and delivering the final project. Choosing the right authoring application depends on the type of media, delivery format, and maintenance needs of the specific project.

Digital transformation, even though a cliché, is definitely on top of every CEO's strategic initiative list. At the heart of any digital transformation, no matter the industry or the size of the company, there is an API strategy. Application programming interfaces (APIs) are the connection points between one application and another, and as such, they enable applications to build on each other, extend each other, and work with each other. Taken together, APIs represent a thriving ecosystem of developers that is showing no sign of slowing down.
Attend this webinar to learn:
• How data virtualization greatly enhances the capabilities of an API
• How data virtualization works as a service container, as a source for microservices and as an API gateway
• How data virtualization can create managed data services ecosystems in a thriving API economy

Microservice Teams - How the cloud changes the way we workSven Peters
A lot of technical challenges and complexity come with building a cloud-native and distributed architecture. The way we develop backend software has fundamentally changed in the last ten years. Managing a microservices architecture demands a lot of us to ensure observability and operational resiliency. But did you also change the way you run your development teams?
Sven will talk about Atlassian’s journey from a monolith to a multi-tenanted architecture and how it affected the way the engineering teams work. You will learn how we shifted to service ownership, moved to more autonomous teams (and its challenges), and established platform and enablement teams.

Graspan: A Big Data System for Big Code AnalysisAftab Hussain
We built a disk-based parallel graph system, Graspan, that uses a novel edge-pair centric computation model to compute dynamic transitive closures on very large program graphs.
We implement context-sensitive pointer/alias and dataflow analyses on Graspan. An evaluation of these analyses on large codebases such as Linux shows that their Graspan implementations scale to millions of lines of code and are much simpler than their original implementations.
These analyses were used to augment the existing checkers; these augmented checkers found 132 new NULL pointer bugs and 1308 unnecessary NULL tests in Linux 4.4.0-rc5, PostgreSQL 8.3.9, and Apache httpd 2.2.18.

Hand Rolled Applicative User ValidationCode KataPhilip Schwarz
Could you use a simple piece of Scala validation code (granted, a very simplistic one too!) that you can rewrite, now and again, to refresh your basic understanding of Applicative operators <*>, <*, *>?
The goal is not to write perfect code showcasing validation, but rather, to provide a small, rough-and ready exercise to reinforce your muscle-memory.
Despite its grandiose-sounding title, this deck consists of just three slides showing the Scala 3 code to be rewritten whenever the details of the operators begin to fade away.
The code is my rough and ready translation of a Haskell user-validation program found in a book called Finding Success (and Failure) in Haskell - Fall in love with applicative functors.

Users can be imported from corporate LDAP servers to eliminate the need for a different
User ID & Password combination for infoRouter.
Users imported from LDAP are authenticated from LDAP.
InfoRouter also includes an internal users database to accommodate remote users not in the
LDAP database. Accounts for external users, partners and vendors can easily be created and

You can seamlessly integrate your “in-house” applications (local or remote) into infoRouter
through the infoRouter Web Services API.
Systems or applications lacking content and document control features can be enhanced
and extended by integrating them with infoRouter.
The Web Services API will allow your developers to access core functions of infoRouter by
making a series of simple SOAP / XML calls via HTTP.
We provide a series of Open Source applications that use the Web Services API to serve as
working examples so you can quickly get started with your own project.

infoRouter is also a fully integrated WebDAV Server (RFC 2518 Compliant Server) that
allows users to bypass the infoRouter interface and collaboratively edit and manage files
and documents using the standard Windows Explorer interface.
Users will be able to upload new documents, view documents, drag-and-drop documents in
and out of infoRouter simply by using the standard Windows File Explorer. Using WebDAV
compatible applications such as Microsoft’s Word, users can simply open Word documents,
and save their changes directly into infoRouter.

Users can create virtually unlimited number of custom document property fields and field
sets. The ability to create multiple document attributes that are relevant to your line of
business will allow you to search for and quickly find your critical business documents.
Query Example:
Find all invoices sent by ACME after 10/01/2008 and where the $ amount is more than
$976.03
A query like this is not available even in search engines like Google and Yahoo. It is however,
possible with the infoRouter META Data services.
META attributes can be assigned to non-indexed documents such as scanned documents
and images to quickly get the right content.
