2. My Parisian
Adventure Begins
I’ve always been self-reliant and
here I have the Hutzpah to go on my
very own to a foreign country.
Everyone told me I was crazy to
even attempt this trip on my own,
but this only gave me more
motivation to visit such a beautiful
destination I had always only
dreamed about.
JFK International Airport
3. This is where my trip to Paris started at the JFK
International Airport.
5. First Class All the Way
There is no better experience than
flying first class to Paris, France. It is
so luxurious and comfortable you
forget you are on a plane. Wait until I
get home and tell them about this.
7. This is the terminal at
Charles De Gaulle
International Airport.
It was definitely-not
how I imagined it
would be.
8. Who would have
thought that when we
go away on our
vacations that the
signs that are
produced for
wayfinding by skilled
personnel, take so
much thought and
effort to make sure
they are understood. I
will never look at a
sign the same way
again.
10. CDG Airport Directory
This is another wayfinding
structure with lots of information
that changes constantly, and a lot
of thought went into making sure
that everyone could understand
and walk away with the correct
information clearly and concisely.
12. The rooms at the
Hilton Hotel Charles
De Gaulle, Paris are
not only spacious
but very comfortable
and very quickly I
snoozed off for a
good restful sleep to
ward off the jet lag
from such a long
arduous flight.
13. The
Louvre
My first stop is at this
mainstay tourist destination,
the Louvre museum which
turned out to be one of my
favorite sites.
14. Night at the Museum
Louvre
It is even more spectacular
when it is lit up at night;
absolutely-breathtaking.
15. eel Jardin
de
Tuileries
So many tourists
at this wonderful,
peaceful site and
so many pictures
to take home for
show-and-tell at
home and the
office.
16. Arc de Triomphe
This is a formidable structure and
is truly a remarkable work of art.
20. Of course, I left the best for last the Eiffel
Tower is one of the seven wonders of the world
and when you see it lit up at night it is a site to behold.
I have never seen anything more beautiful than this
iconic structure.
21. They say that the landing
is the hardestpart.
No problem here!
22. I remember in the
film The Wizard of Oz,
Dorothy said, “there’s
no place like home”
not one but three
times; but I could
have easily stayed in
Paris.
