Gatka originated in Punjab and uses wooden sticks. Inbuan wrestling comes from Mizoram and involves throwing opponents on the ground. Kalaripayatu combines combat, medicine and spiritual practice. Varma kalai focuses on pressure points to disable opponents without killing them.
