The National Mission on Bamboo Applications aims to expand the bamboo sector, promoting its use as a low-cost material for construction and other applications. Various activities are being undertaken to develop technologies for bamboo composites, which offer lightweight and durable alternatives. Additionally, bamboo shoots present opportunities for economic growth through cultivation and processing at community levels.

economic activity at the entrepreneurial and community
level through cultivation, processing and packaging.
