The children of GPS Asifnagar school in Hyderabad noticed that many adults in their community were illiterate and faced difficulties in places like banks and post offices. They organized an adult education program where five students taught basic literacy skills like reading, writing, and identifying bus routes to adults in the community hall. The adults learned quickly and enjoyed learning from the children. Within a few days, some adults had learned to read and write their own names, gaining more independence. The children shared the success of their program with others in their school and community.
