This document outlines a research project on the position of women directors in company management in India. The project will analyze the need for appointing women directors, their roles and responsibilities, problems with related rules, implementation of rules, and an overall analysis of the current scenario. The objectives are to understand the relevance of women directors, impact of related provisions, and analyze case studies to evaluate proper implementation. The research will be limited to conditions of women directors in Indian companies and use Indian data and references. A doctrinal methodology will be applied using books, research articles, and commentaries. The project chapters will discuss the concept of women directors in Indian law, related issues and solutions, and conclusions.
