Identity Theft
by
Ryan
What is Identity Theft
Identity Theft is when someone steals your drivers
license, credit card number or any other form of
private identity information.
How to avoid Identity Theft
Don’t put your social security number on personal
identification and don’t carry it around. When you
discard credit cards be sure to destroy them. If you
don’t people can find them and use them. Review
your credit report once a year and if you see
suspicious activity contact your creditors. Write
“photo ID required” in the signature spot. That way
the thief will have a harder time purchasing items.
