Characteristics of The Hypocrites - English
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HYPOCRITES

The Holy Qur’an is a complete book, one of magnificence and wonder, which
gives a detailed description of all the main characteristics of the believers,
disbelievers and hypocrites. By measuring themselves against this description,
anyone can easily determine which of the three groups they belong to.
It is known that from the dawn of time, Prophets, Messengers and their
Caliphs have faced opposition. Sometimes the hostility was shown by external
adversaries, those who preferred disbelief to belief. At times, the antagonism
came from enemies within the community of believers; in other words,
hypocrites. The latter are more vicious than common disbelievers, for they
conceal their attacks on Prophets, Messengers and Caliphs within the veils of
deceit and trickery. Obedience is a thing they simply cannot abide. They
believe, in their pride and arrogance, that they are superior to Prophets,
Messengers and their Caliphs. This transpires from the following verse:
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
[2:35] And remember the time when We said to the angels: ‘Submit to Adam,’ and
they all submitted. But Iblis did not. He refused and was too proud; and he was of the
disbelievers.
Thus it appears that Iblis represents any individual who refuses to bear the
yoke of obedience and not only announces his rebellion but preaches it to his
comrades as well. The deluded wretch believes he is greater than the
Prophets, Messengers and Caliphs; and proclaiming his superiority, he tells his
companions: “We are better than they.” We read in the next verse:

The articulation points of the arabic alphabet part3Naimshahjr
Well this is it, all the letters in the Arabic alphabet done you should feel good. Because now you know how to properly pronounce these letters. Now you can go on teaching someone else.
The articulation points of the arabic alphabet part1Naimshahjr
So we have covered understanding the quran now on to learning the quran, and what better way to learn the quran than to know how to pronounce the Arabic alphabet.
Inspiring thoughts to keep you motivatedNaimshahjr
We've all experienced the time were we are just sad and you fall, and claim you'll never get back up. Then something shocking or inspiring happens that shakes you out of it. Well I'm here to help you get back up.
We all love the Quran, but do we understand it? Ponder it's meanings and try to connect it with our daily lives. I hope that this presentation has a impact on your life and mind. All I want is peace and love for the world. The Quran is a very powerful book and it shouldn't be taken lightly. So understand the Quran for the prophet (PBUH) said:" The best of you are those who learn the Quran read the Quran and teach the Quran." If you have time or a chance to learn the Quran do it and don't rush. Take your time, understanding the Quran isn't something you can just pick up over night it takes time. Lastly don't be ashamed if your pronouncing or understanding the Quran slowly or with difficulty. The person who struggles with the Quran gets more rewards than a person who does it with ease. Just try your best!
Asalamu alakium, most people have problems with forgiving people. I do too, but after hearing how the Prophet handled it we'll have to think twice. Hopefully this will touch your heart like it touched mine.
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
2. Now, unfortunately
these days hypocrites
aren’t rare. Ramadan Mubarak everyone!!!
Sometimes it could be for a good thing, like police
officers sometimes have to go undercover to crack a
case or something. However I’m not talking about
those kinds of hypocrites, I’m talking about the
hypocrites in islam. Today we will be going over the
signs of a hypocrite, their mindset, characteristics,
examples of them from the Quran, their punishment,
and if they can be forgiven. Hopefully you will avoid
these characteristics and mindsets and continue to be
a strong faithed muslims.
3. Signs of a hypocrite:
Alhamdulillah we were given a narration by Abu
Hurairah about this exact thing:
Abu Hurairah reported that the prophet (PBUH) said,
“Among the signs of the hypocrite is three, even if he
claims he fasts and prays and claims to be a muslim.
1. When he speaks he lies.
2. When he gives a promise he breaks it.
3. And when he is trusted he betrays.
These are the signs of the hypocrite, next we
will learn the mindset of the hypocrites.
4. Mindset of
hypocrites in the
Quran:
Now, in surah 2:8-9 it says
And of mankind , there are some (Hypocrites) who
say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day,” while in fact
they believe not. They (think to) deceive Allah, while
they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!
From these ayahs we see that the hypocrites think
they can deceive Allah but as we know he is Al- Aleem.
Also in surah 2: 55-56, the children of Israel said they
would not believe until they saw Allah clearly and were
struck with lightning and were killed. Then Allah
brought them back to life, but still after all the clear
evidences they wanted more. This shows how
stubborn the hypocrites were. A few other examples
are in surah 2: 258, 49-52, and 21:60-68.
5. Characteristics of a
hypocrite:
In surah Nisa 141-144 it talks about the
characteristics of the hypocrite. It says when the
hypocrites stand up to pray they are lazy and only
want to be seen. They only remember Allah in their
salats a little. They sway in between faiths, they are
uncertain. In war they sit and watch and if the
muslims win they say weren’t we with you and if they
lose they say to the Kafirs did we not help you to
defeat them?
A hadith by Bukhari
The prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever acts to be heard,
Allah will make him heard, and whoever acts to show
off, Allah will show him off.”
Sub Narration: He who shows off his deeds for honor
in this world Allah will show him off on the Day of
Resurrection and disgrace him.
6. Examples from the
Quran:
The most common example for me at least is in surah
2: 67-71. When Musa ordered for his people to
slaughter the cow. Even after he told them it was
Allah’s command they asked for more details and
more and more until they were satisfied.
Or also in surah 2:17-20, it talks about those who have
a light which Allah took away from them and they
became deaf, dumb, and blind.
2:54, when the Children of Israel worshipped the cow
and how they asked to see Allah clearly. These are the
same people who Musa helped escape Firaun, who
saw the sea split, who were struck with lightning and
the resurrected once more! Subhanallah, may Allah
make us among those who are rightly guided.
Ameen!!!!
7. Their Punishment:
In surah Nisa ayah 145 it says that the
hypocrites will be in the deepest part of
جحنمand they will have no helpers.
In ayah 148 it says that give glad
tidings to the hypocrites that there is
for them a painful torment.
8. Their Mercy:
However it says in Surah Nisa 146-147:
Except for those who repent, correct themselves, hold
fast to Allah, and are sincere in their religion for Allah,
for those will be with the believers. And Allah is going
to give the believers a great reward.
What would Allah do with your punishment if you are
grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative
and Knowing.
As you can see from these ayat there is hope for
those hypocrites if they repent for Allah is The Most
Merciful. Insha’Allah you have learned something
useful from this class. Thank you for your time and
patience, that is all for today.
