Humble Chef - Ignite Lincoln Presentation

Editor's Notes

  • #2 Intro – Hi I’m Nick My quick presentation is titled, the Humble Chef – of course I will be talking to your about cooking today.
  • #3 Brief disclaimer – I am not a professional Chef – I am far from it. My only qualification around food is that I love to eat it.
  • #4 How can a guy be passionate about cooking. It is definitely my passion and I had no idea. My girlfriend took me to a cooking demo dinner once, so it must have been entered into my subconscious that I love to cook.
  • #5 You can fail at it, regularly if you’re me. I feel that this is one of the best ways to learn and grow. Making accidental mustard gas in the kitchen is a great way to humble you.

  • #8 The hard part is over – but now what do I do? Where do I go? I cannot make it in the restaurant business, but I can improve my life through cooking – so I wanted to be healthy and save money with cooking.
  • #10 I vowed to increase the frequency of my cooking. One thing that I did notice right off the bat is that I was still buying the same amount of food as before.
  • #11 Focus on health – always been a big part of my life, so I wanted to include it in the presentation.
  • #14 Going over average time it takes to prepare dinner.
  • #17 Oh yes I did grow. Without even knowing it. I decided to make a calzone. This was a
