This document provides an overview of a mythology and literature course taught by Professor Will Adams at Valencia College. The course examines myths from a comparative perspective and considers their application in the humanities. Students will analyze myths using different methods, articulate similarities and differences between ancient and modern cultures, and demonstrate connections between myths and contemporary culture. The course requires multiple writing assignments to satisfy the Gordon Rule. Students will be evaluated based on class participation, assignments, a research project, exams, and attending a cultural event.
