This document provides information about a Greek and Roman Humanities course taught by Professor Will Adams. The course will cover developments in Classical civilizations as expressed through art, architecture, politics, literature, music, philosophy and religion from the Paleolithic era through the birth of Russia. Students will be evaluated based on attendance, a cultural event reaction paper, a research project, and four exams. The course objectives are to understand human development critically, broaden knowledge of Greek and Roman ideas and personalities, learn relevant vocabulary, appreciate their legacy, and develop critical thinking skills through research papers. A required textbook is listed and policies on assignments, conduct, plagiarism, disabilities and alterations to the outline are provided.
