CORRIGENDUM
ln continuation of Advertisement No. rcn[M published on 16'02'2016'
corrigendum dated 15.03.2016 & 29.04.2016 in various newsfapers for filling up of 1647
posts ofAssistant Professor (college cadre) for various subjects, it is hereby announced for
the general information of the candidates that the classification of posts among disabled
persons sent to the Commission by the Additional Chief Secretary to Govt' of Haryana,
Higher Education Department was challenged by some petitioners in the Hon'ble Court of
Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Haryana. The Hon'ble Commissioner heard
the petitions on 30.03.2016, 08.04.2016 & 21.04.2016 respectively and it was directed by
the Hon'ble Commission on21.04.20L6 to sort out the issue raised by the petitioners as per
provisions contained in (i) the Gazette of lndia No. 16-15/2010-DD III dated 29'07.2013
(ii) Hon'ble Supreme Court of lndia's judgrr,;.i'. y^oo.l -" 2{,.Q3.2014 in Writ Petition
(Civil) No. 116 of 1998 (iii) Haryana Govt.'s instructions dated 15'07.2014 (iv) U'G'C's
communication No. F .6'7 12015 (SCT) dated 07 .04.2016.
Accordingly, The Additional chief secretary to Govt. Haryanq Departpent of
Higher Education vide its letter No. 8136-2006 C-1 (2)"dated 27.04.2016 has sent the
revised classification in respect of L647 posts advertised earlier, including the whole
backlog of Disabted Persons upto 31.03.2016. The detailed classification of total no. of
subject wise and category wise posts is as under:-

Note: -(i) In the above mentioned classification, the post meant for Persons with Disabilities
have been classified as PH (VH) and PH (Ortho) only instead of their earlier
classification like PH (Gen)/PH (SC). In view of the Govt. instructions issued vide
No. 2211012013-1GSIII dated 15.07.2014, reservation for the PH categories is
horizontal which cuts across vertical reservation.
The PH (Ilearing Impaired) candidates who have applied earlier again;t
the post reserved for PII (II I) will be considered against their categories
i.e. Gen/SC/BC, as the case may be if they fulfill all the eligibility conditions etc'
meant for their category except application fee.
The candidates who wish to apply now against the new classification of posts can
apply though online mode upto 10.05.2016 i.e. closing date [13.05.2016-closing
date for depositing fees in the banks].
The candidates who had applied earlier are at liberty to make any change regarding
their category and qualification etc. in their previous online application form upto
10.05.2016.
Candidates are directed not to send the hard copies of their online application forms
at this stage. However, they are further directed to take print of their online
application forms and keep the same with them. The stlme can be required by the
Commission at a later stage.
