To make a spiral tie dye t-shirt, you first make different colored dyes by boiling water and adding dye to separate bowls. Then, you spray water on a cotton t-shirt, twist it into a spiral shape, and secure it with rubber bands. Next, you dip different sides of the twisted shirt into different dye colors and let it dry with the rubber bands still on. Finally, you remove the rubber bands, unfold the dried shirt, and have a finished spiral tie dye design.

2. Materials
Fabric Dye
Rubber Bands
Gloves
100% Cotton White T-shirt
Spray Bottle filled with Water
2-3 Bowls (depending on colors)

3. Step One: Make Colors
Boil water at high temperature.
Pour water on seprate bowls.
Add dye.

4. Step Two: Make Your Design
Spray Water on Shirt.
Pinch the middle of
the shirt and twist
until the whole shirt
looks like a circle.
Wrap shirt with
rubber bands.

Dip one side in any color
then dip the other side in
any other color.
Take it out and let it dry.

7. Step Four: Open and Dry
Take off the rubber bands and open the t-shirt.
