The document discusses passages from Genesis that describe God's blessings and promises to Abraham and his descendants. It notes how God promised to make Abraham into a great nation and bless all peoples on earth through him. The document emphasizes that it is important not only to know God's promises, but also to know God himself as the source of those promises.
Jesus sends out the disciples into the harvest field, telling them to preach the Kingdom and heal the sick. He encourages them to look for Persons of Peace who will host them and spread their message of peace. Jesus warns the disciples that some will reject their message and persecute them, but tells them not to be afraid and to trust that God will give them the words to say.
Trinity Kings Family & World Leadership: GOD's Kingdom Model to be followed...Terrell Patillo
Trinity Kings Family & World Leadership aims to bless all families of the earth through leadership as described in Genesis 12:3. The organization sees itself as an "Ambassador of Leadership for the World." Its goal is for all families on earth to be blessed, based on the verse from Genesis.
The document describes a parable from the Bible where a vineyard owner hires workers throughout the day at different hourly rates. At the end of the day, he pays all workers the same wage, including those who only worked for an hour. When the longer-working workers complain, the owner responds that he is free to pay as he chooses and asks if they begrudge his generosity. The document then discusses how this parable shows that God's love, acceptance and forgiveness are gifts of His generosity and not commodities exchanged for human performance or merit.

2 And I will make you a great nation. I will bring good to you. I will make your name great, so you will be honored. 3 I will bring good to those who are good to you. And I will curse those who curse you. Good will come to all the families of the earth because of you.”
This document discusses reconciliation and the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It covers how God reconciled all things to himself through Christ, who was the promised king. His birth was foretold in prophecies and he fulfilled the role of Messiah. Jesus offered the kingdom of God, but it was rejected, so he gave his life for all.

His birth was foretold in prophecies and he fulfilled the role of Messiah. Jesus offered the kingdom of God, but it was rejected, so he gave his life for all.
The document discusses God's plan for reconciling all things through Christ. It explains that sin broke humanity's relationship with God and corrupted creation. God promised Abraham that through his descendants, He would bless all nations and provide a Savior. Various passages from the Old Testament foreshadowed this coming Savior who would solve the problems caused by sin and the fall. The document outlines how Christ's work on the cross fully accomplishes God's plan of restoring right relationships between God and His creation.
This document outlines God's plan for reconciling humanity, beginning with the problem of sin and the promise of salvation through Christ. It discusses Christ's life and kingdom offered during his first advent, followed by the future tribulation and Christ's second coming. This will usher in the millennial kingdom and a time of restoration for Israel, followed by the eternal state where creation will be restored and mankind reconciled to God through the new covenant established by Christ's sacrifice.
We have unique opportunities during the Christmas season to let the light of Jesus shine. It's the season to be kind, show comfort, and share the good news of Jesus.
The document argues that tithing is a false doctrine in churches today. It provides numerous biblical references to show that tithing under the Mosaic law was specific to crops, livestock, and other agricultural products given to Levite priests, not cash. Additionally, it states that since the Levitical priesthood ended, Christians under the new covenant are not required to pay any tithes. The document concludes that the modern doctrine of tithing cash in churches is a false teaching used to financially exploit people.
This sermon discusses how God can use people of any age based on passages from the psalms and examples from the Bible. It notes that the righteous will still bear fruit in old age according to Psalm 92:14. Examples are given of older biblical figures like Moses, Aaron, Joshua, Caleb, and Daniel who served God in their older years. The sermon encourages Christians of all ages to make themselves available to God and stresses that with willingness and effort, the elderly can still contribute through services like prayer, teaching, encouragement and outreach.
Galatians 4:21-31 describes two covenants through the story of Abraham, Hagar, Sarah, Ishmael and Isaac.
The first covenant is represented by Hagar the servant woman and her son Ishmael, who was born in the natural way. The second covenant is represented by Sarah the free woman and her son Isaac, who was born not naturally but by God's promise.
Paul is telling the Galatians that just like Isaac, Christians are children of the promise, not of the law. Those who try to be justified by the law will face persecution, just as Ishmael persecuted Isaac. Believers are called to cast out the old covenant of law
The dedicatory epistle begins by praising King James I for continuing the work of spreading God's word in England after Queen Elizabeth. It acknowledges the peace and prosperity the King has brought. The second sentence notes that the continued preaching of God's word in England above all other blessings fills their hearts with joy. The final sentence humbly offers the newly translated Bible to the King, both as sovereign and as the chief proponent of the work, and seeks his approval and protection to defend against any criticism, so that the Church of England may benefit from the translation.
This document contains the notes from a Bible study on discipleship. It defines what it means to be a disciple according to scripture as a pupil, learner, or follower of Jesus Christ. It discusses how disciples are called to go and make more disciples by evangelizing and equipping others. The marks of a disciple include cherishing others, imparting God's word and your life to others, working hard to support oneself, and exhorting and comforting others like a father to his children so they may walk worthily before God.
This document discusses plural leadership in churches, with elders always mentioned in plural form in the Bible. It notes practical benefits of plural leadership like balancing weaknesses and adding wisdom. It also discusses corporate responsibility of the whole church to address problems, and individual responsibility to listen to God and respond through works of service.
The document discusses tithing and giving to the church. It provides biblical references that talk about giving a tenth of what one produces or owns to God. It also discusses passages in 2 Corinthians that encourage believers to give generously from what they have been given. The document emphasizes that tithing is about commitment to God's mission rather than personal finances or circumstances. It concludes by stating the vision for Black Forest Chapel is to worship and proclaim Christ to the community through preaching, worship, fellowship, and witness.
The document discusses reasons why Christians should give offerings and tithes to God. It lists fourteen reasons: 1) To show love for God, 2) To access financial provision, 3) To create financial flow for future generations, 4) To honor God, 5) To show trust in God over fear and greed, 6) To acknowledge that wealth comes from God, 7) To prove obedience to God's word, 8) To be remembered by God forever, 9) As an act of worship, 10) To show gratitude to God. The document supports each reason with several Bible verses.
This document discusses the spiritual discipline of giving. It encourages honoring God with one's wealth by acknowledging that everything belongs to Him. It recommends bringing the tithe to worship God and rejoice in His provision. While tithing was practiced before the Law, Jesus also expected it of Jews. Giving is part of living out the gospel through love in action.
For a Christian man or woman, we have a task to be like a runner who is carrying a baton which is the faith in Jesus Christ. It is also important to pass the baton of faith to our children- no inheritance is more valuable than this. Our goal is to ensure that the baton of faith will be passed on from generation to generation so that God's 'Plan of Salvation" for the whole world is achieved.

Human Trafficking Facts and Stats document summarizes that approximately 3,287 people are trafficked into slavery every day, with most being children sold repeatedly for sex. This hidden problem occurs worldwide, including within the United States. The document notes that due to sin, humanity is subject to hardship, corruption, and ultimate death, but promises future redemption and restoration.
This document discusses Catholic Tradition and how it relates to transmitting the true faith from generation to generation. Catholic Tradition is the true faith itself that was given to the apostles by Christ and faithfully passed down through the centuries. The document also mentions recommendations and conclusions related to the Church and the internet.
The document discusses finding joy through generosity rather than wealth. It references passages from the Bible discussing how the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure or pearl of great value that people give up all they have to obtain. Paul discusses learning to be content in all circumstances through Christ. The Macedonian churches are cited as an example of generosity coming from poverty and joy. True generosity is defined as giving cheerfully for God rather than out of obligation.
The document discusses the importance of spiritual fathers and sons in the church based on examples from the Bible. It provides passages that show how God establishes spiritual fathers and sons and how He protects the order of fathers passing spiritual gifts to sons. The early church had records of membership, discipline, and accountability that recognized who was a church member.
This document discusses three key principles about wealth based on biblical teachings:
1) God owns everything and we are merely stewards of what He provides. Recognizing His ownership keeps wealth in proper perspective.
2) Hard work and diligence are valued, as illustrated by the examples of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and others. Idleness leads to poverty while working yields prosperity.
3) Contentment, not entitlement, should be our attitude toward wealth, as taught by Jesus and Paul. True fulfillment comes from God, not material possessions. How we use wealth can bless future generations or lead them astray.
The document discusses the dangers of allowing possessions and abundance to distract one from God. It notes that having many possessions can lead one to idolatry by making material things the focus instead of God. It advises that one must give their heart, soul, strength and mind fully to God instead of becoming distracted by wealth and abundance in this life.

The slides used to accompany the message delivered by Pastor Matthew Huish at the Bromley FFWPU Community's worship service on Sunday 1st November 2015.
The Boeing 377 Stratocruiser was developed towards the end of World War II by adapting an enlarged upper fuselage onto the lower fuselage and wings of the B-50 Superfortress bomber. It had a double-decker fuselage that provided seating for over 100 passengers and could fly nonstop across the Atlantic. While complex and expensive to produce, it served as the flagship of airlines like Pan Am and BOAC from 1949 until being replaced by early jetliners in the 1960s. Only 56 Stratocruisers were built before production ended in 1950.
North East Region Summer Workshop 2014 - Lecture 3+4 (the cause of human conf...Matthew Huish
The document discusses the origins of evil and human suffering according to religious texts like Genesis. It proposes that the original human ancestors, Adam and Eve, fell from spiritual perfection after being tempted by Lucifer to engage in an illicit sexual relationship by eating the forbidden fruit. As a result of this "human fall," all of humanity came to belong to Satan's lineage rather than God's, introducing selfishness, conflict and the possibility of sin into the world.
C4ainaction-Introduction to the Pyramid Web FrameworkFrancis Addai
Pyramid is a Python web framework and it is so awesome. If you are looking to choose a web framework written in Python, you should consider choosing Pyramid. It is flexible and it so doesn't get in your way during the development of your application.
It is highly pluggable, take what you need and ignore what you don't. A lot of choices are left to be made by you because you know the requirements of your software better.
The document discusses several religious texts that foretell of the end times and God's judgment, including passages from the Quran, Bible, and words of religious leader Sun Myung Moon. It describes scenarios of the heavens and earth being destroyed by fire and events on the "day of the Lord" according to Christian scriptures. The document warns that people should not procrastinate in fulfilling their responsibilities and living according to God's will, otherwise they will "die without having ever spent even one day of being one with the Will" and cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mourning and tears can lead to joy and comfort through God. While sadness is normally avoided, sorrow and tears are valuable when suffered for the sake of God and others. Those who mourn will be comforted, as God is the God of all comfort who comforts people in their troubles so they can comfort others. Mourning makes joy by bringing people closer to God, who can't be won through other means but through dedicated sorrow for others.

This document outlines the five "P's" of the church according to scripture:
1. The church was eternally purposed by God before the foundation of the world.
2. God purposed to make known the mystery of His will through Jesus Christ and by the church.
3. The coming of the church was promised in the Old Testament and prophesied by prophets.
4. John the Baptist and Jesus Christ prepared the way for the beginning of the church.
5. The church was perfected on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell, as prophesied in Acts.
The document discusses the kingdom of God and living according to God's will. It emphasizes that through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection, believers are no longer separated from God but are fellow citizens in God's kingdom. The early church is presented as a model community, as the believers devoted themselves to fellowship, prayer, and sharing their possessions to help those in need. They met daily and praised God together, and the Lord added to their numbers as they witnessed about Jesus throughout Jerusalem and the surrounding regions.
The document discusses Jesus fulfilling the law through his presentation at the temple as an infant. It references passages from 1 Samuel, Hebrews, Luke, and Psalm 84. 1 Samuel tells of Hannah presenting Samuel to God at the temple after her prayer was answered. Hebrews discusses Jesus sharing in humanity to destroy Satan and free people from death. Luke recounts Mary and Joseph bringing Jesus to the temple according to the law, where Simeon prophesies about Jesus being a light and salvation. The Psalm expresses longing for God's house. Overall it shows Jesus as the fulfillment of the law and savior of all people.
The uniqueness of the catholic church 2011maximilianyong
The document discusses the mission of the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit according to scripture and Catholic doctrine. It provides biblical quotes about Jesus sending the Holy Spirit and commanding the disciples to spread the gospel. It describes the events of Pentecost, the birth of the Church, and lists the seven gifts and charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit. It also briefly discusses the authority and teaching office of the Church.
The document discusses the preaching of the gospel and kingdom of God. It provides biblical definitions of key terms: the gospel refers to Christ's death for sins and resurrection, the kingdom of God refers to God's ruling government to be headed by Christ. Several passages are cited showing Jesus and his disciples preaching the kingdom of God and gospel, defined as the good news about God's coming kingdom to be ruled by Messiah Jesus. Preaching involved solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and persuading people about Jesus as the Messiah.
12.01.13 sacraments intro nature of holy baptismJustin Morris
The document provides an overview of the nature of Holy Baptism. It discusses that Baptism involves water combined with God's word as instituted by Christ. Baptism is meant for all people regardless of attributes and confers saving grace. Little children should be baptized when brought by those with authority as the kingdom of God belongs to such as these according to Jesus.
The document discusses key principles of Christianity including unity through Christ, commitment to scripture, worship as a transforming act, passion for evangelism, strength of the local church, and passion for Christian education. Several bible verses are provided to support each principle. The overall message is bringing Christians together under a common set of biblical beliefs and values.
The document discusses the Christian & Missionary Alliance's statement of faith on the church. It defines the church as consisting of all believers in Jesus Christ who are redeemed by his blood and born again by the Holy Spirit, with Christ as the head. The church has been commissioned to go into all the world witnessing and preaching the gospel. There will be both true believers and false believers ("tares") within churches.
This document provides a summary of a presentation by Dr. Peter Hammond on the greatness of the Great Commission given by Jesus. The summary includes:
- The Great Commission given by Jesus to make disciples of all nations is a great command with a great promise that Jesus will be with believers always.
- The Great Commission must be the top priority of believers as it was Jesus' last command.
- Though the task seems impossible, Jesus provided believers with the promised power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the commission.
- Believers are called to go into all areas of society and cultures to proclaim the gospel message of repentance and forgiveness of sins through both words and good works.
The document discusses the "Great Commission" passages found in the New Testament where Jesus instructs the disciples to spread his teachings. It analyzes the key aspects of the commissions given in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts. The author then synthesizes these passages into a single sentence describing being sent by God the Father and Son, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to witness to others about Jesus everywhere by making disciples, preaching forgiveness of sins, and releasing people from Satan's control.
This document discusses Jesus teaching his disciples about the fulfillment of prophecies concerning him in the Old Testament scriptures. It explains that Jesus opened their minds to understand by taking passages and showing how they were fulfilled in him. It then discusses how Jesus taught his disciples that it was necessary for him to suffer and rise from the dead on the third day according to scripture. Finally, it states that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
The document is a sermon about deterrents to church growth. It identifies six deterrents that were covered in a previous sermon: loose talk, looking back, lack of vision, little faith, lovelessness, and listening to the wrong people. It then discusses six more deterrents: relying on professionals instead of all church members serving, promoting cliques instead of fellowship, unwillingness to sacrifice for the church, desiring convenience over commitment, division within the church, and members living impure lives. The sermon encourages examining one's own actions and ensuring they are helping rather than hindering the church's growth.
The document discusses the papacy and the Roman Catholic Church. It claims that though the Roman Church now presents a fair front, covering its past cruelties, it is fundamentally unchanged. It asserts that the papacy still holds the same doctrines and principles as in past ages of darkness. While there are sincere Christians in the Catholic communion who serve God according to their light, the Roman system remains an apostasy. The document warns that Catholicism is gaining ground through increased popularity of its churches, colleges, and compromises by Protestants, and calls God's people to resist its dangerous advances against liberty.
This document summarizes a presentation about the importance and scope of the Great Commission given by Jesus. It discusses how the Great Commission contains Jesus' authority, the command to make disciples of all nations, teaching obedience to all His commands, and His promise to always be with believers. It emphasizes that the Great Commission means more than just sharing the gospel, and calls Christians to disciple individuals, families, communities, and entire nations. While the task seems impossible, Jesus provides the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish it. Personal evangelism and witnessing are highlighted as the most effective ways to fulfill the Great Commission.
2013 Book of Mormon: Chapter 13 (Institute Lesson by hgellor)Leah Gellor
The document outlines three key doctrines and principles from the Book of Mormon:
1. In the last days, many people will be deceived by false doctrines.
2. The Book of Mormon joins the Bible in bearing witness that the Lord is God.
3. Obedience, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ qualify us to become the Lord's covenant people.
Things concerning the kingdom of god ha22 04192015James Bradshaw
1) The document discusses the urgency and importance of preaching about the Kingdom of God. Jesus and his disciples preached about the Kingdom, and Paul continued preaching about it.
2) It explores the nature of the Kingdom of God, saying it is eternal and spiritual rather than of this world. The Kingdom came with power on the day of Pentecost.
3) To enter the Kingdom of God, one must be born of water and spirit through baptism, as demonstrated in Acts when people were baptized and added to the church after hearing the gospel. Preaching the Kingdom is essential for church growth.
This document discusses the last words and commands of Jesus before his ascension. It provides passages from the gospels where Jesus instructs the disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them. It then discusses passages from Acts where Jesus commands the disciples to wait in Jerusalem to receive power when the Holy Spirit comes. The document emphasizes that salvation is through being baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ, water baptism is an outward symbol performed by disciples, and Jesus baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit. Zacchaeus, a wealthy tax collector, climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Jesus as he passed through Jericho. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, he told him to come down as he would stay at his house that day, much to the muttering of the crowd who saw Zacchaeus as a sinner. Zacchaeus promised to give half his possessions to the poor and repay anyone he had cheated four times the amount, in response to which Jesus said salvation had come to Zacchaeus' house as he too was a son of Abraham, and the Son of Man had come to seek and save the lost.

Ezra had set his heart to study God's law and teach it to others in Israel. Accordingly, Ezra brought the law before an assembly and had passages read aloud and interpreted so that people understood. God's Word is a covenant where if people fulfill their part, God will prosper them, but if they fail, God will not interfere if they come to ruin. When doing hoondokhae, have participants take turns reading aloud, ask questions to discuss application, and engage all in discussion for maximum understanding.
Christianity teaches that love is the foundation of relationships between people and with God. It aims to restore harmony horizontally between individuals through sacrifice and love for one another, opening the path also to restore the vertical relationship with God based on giving and receiving with Him. Loving one another as disciples of Christ is the sign that shows people we follow Him.
The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

on earth in their physical bodies. They
