Hourly Rate for Day Rate worker
In case, the worker paid on the basis of day rate, then in order to get their monthly salary,
we calculate through the following formula:
• 25 x Daily Salary (for worker works 6 days a week)
• 21 x Daily Salary (for worker works 5 days a week)
After we get the monthly amount, then we continue to find their hourly rate. This way as
advised by PERMENAKERTRANS NO.102/MEN/IV/2004, article 9, paragraph 1.
For example:
Worker Day rate is IDR 500,000,
he works 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
IDR 500,000 x 21 = IDR 10.500.000
IDR 10.500.000/173 = IDR 60,694
HOURLY RATE = IDR 60,694
