This document provides instructions for adding an image signature to emails sent from a Hotmail account. It explains that the image must be hosted online rather than embedded directly from the user's computer. It then outlines the steps to copy an image from an online hosting site, paste it into the Hotmail signature editor along with accompanying text, and test the new signature. Users are directed to include text above the image for the signature to display properly in sent emails.

2. Log in to your hotmail account and click on settings, then click on more settings:

3. Click On Formatting, font and signature

Your signature needs to be on the Internet to work
with Hotmail. Hotmail doesn’t allow images to be
imbedded directly from your computer. The file
must be on-line.

with a link if you need one OR….
•
You can upload it to your Facebook or any other online photo sharing site and it will work the same.
•
Once your email signature is on-line, proceed
forward.

5. Go to the image on-line

6. Hover over the image and right click and
choose copy image
(not the link in the address bar, you must right click directly on the image)

7. In the signature box below, paste the image
by right clicking and selecting paste.
The image will appear in the bottom box…

8. Your email signature must include text above
the image or it won’t work. Click Save

9. Test by creating a new message, you
should see your signature image and text.
