Dominique Perrault is a French architect born in 1953 known for his notable work on the Library François Mitterrand in Paris, for which he received an Award for Contemporary Architecture in 1996. Some of his other major building projects include a multi-sports complex in Manzanares, Madrid from 2002-2006, the Innsbruck Town Hall from 1996-2004, the National Library of Paris from 1989-1995, a velodrome and Olympic swimming pool in Germany from 1992-1999, Ewha Womans University in South Korea in 2004, and the Mariinsky II Theatre in Russia in 2003.
