Ambassador Hope has finally got bankers, investors and sponsors on 6 continents to
unite for the closing and release of the funds to invest in the poor. Hope has led the
work for 30 years in 40 countries connecting 29 stakeholder groups including financing,
knowledge, technologies, processes and resources to invest in the BOP market of which
1 billion of the poorest of the poor live on less than $1 a day.
She developed the Foreign Empowerment Policy for President Obama and the G20
leaders to shift from single government funding to a horizontal model of International
Public Private Partnerships which could access resources from the G-20 and the G-192
regardless of borders, legal status or any other rules used to exclude citizens from
participating in the global economy.

The shift from a 'top down' command and control model to a 'bottom up' cooperate and
collaborate model will empower the poorest of the poor to apply their talent and skills
and shift from being part of the problem to part of the solution. The global conversation
can change reality.
