Honeyrocket Takes Off! Over the weekend, hometown candidate, Alph Honeyrocket, made his second appearance on his ten tour promotion to Detroit, Michigan.  With large crowds anticipating his arrival,  police took precautions because of the popularity of Honeyrocket’s campaign.  As Honeyrocket arrived at Kettering University, he was greeted by the 18,000 students and citizens with a loud roar of applause.  He began his speech on a very prominent issue, education.  Silently the crowd listened to his stand on education.  “ We need an education system that will fit with the students and not have the students try to fit in,” boasted Honeyrocket.  Immediately, the crowd jumped to their feet.  Listening intently for Honeyrocket’s next view on another issue, the crowd grew silent once again.  “How many of you are worried about jobs?” Honeyrocket asked the audience. After the rally was over we caught up with a few people to get their feedback on the future presidents speech given.  Charlotte Freeburg, a student at Kettering University, exclaimed, “Honeyrocket lit up the stage with his positive energy and stuck with all his platforms, which were also very strong!”  Jacob Smithencater, a small business owner, stated, “I was worried about Honeyrocket at first glance because he looked a little younger than most canidates, but I gave him a chance and I ended up loving his stance of giving us more jobs.”  This seemed to be the reaction from most people that were there that day.  The next stop on Honeyrocket’s tour is Kansas City, Missouri where he is excepted to bring in yet another large crowd.  Date today 04/24/09
