Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

HJ SAIL.pptx
Hassan Bin Haji Sail.
membesarkan anak-anak, mereka berdua saling bantu
membantu mengerjakan sawah dibendang, di samping
menanam sayur-sayuran secara kecil-kecilan di belakang
rumah . Hasil rezeki yang diusahakan , dapatlah mereka
menampung keperluan hidup dan membesarkan anak-anak
mereka sekeluarga. Dengan kata lain , segala nikmat hidup
seperti keperluan makanan, pakaian, pendidikan dan
sebagainya dapat dirasai sepenuhnya oleh keluarga yang
besar ini.
apabila dewasa kelak.
4. Telah menjadi tradisi bagi orang-orang melayu
untuk menghantar anak-anak mereka yang
berusia 5-6 tahun mengaji al-quran kepada mana-
mana guru al quran yang dipercayai. Demikianlah
yang dilalui oleh Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu
Hassan, sewaktu berusia 5 tahun, beliau telah
dihantar oleh ayahnya untuk mengaji al quran
kepada datuk saudara sebelah bapanya iaitu Tuan
Guru Haji Muhammad Taib, seorang guru al quran
yang cukup dihormati ketika itu.
datang sebelah malam, mengikut kesesuaian waktu
persekolahan.
samping belajar al quran .Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Taib
1933, Sewaktu usianya meningkat 7 tahun, samalah seperti
pendidikan formal .
7. Di sekolah, Allahyarham Dato' Haji Abu Hasssan
merupakan seorang pelajar yang cemerlang. Kalau
berdasarkan keputusan peperiksaan darjah enam, beliau
sebenarnya layak untuk menyambung pengajian di sekolah
Inggeris, seterusnya berpeluang menjadi guru . Tetapi
8. Atas kehendak orang tuanya , selepas tamat pengajian di
sekolah melayu, Allahyarham Dato' Haji Abu Hassan telah
membantu kedua-dua ibu bapanya di sawah.Beliau juga
melakukan kerja-kerja kampung seperti menanam sayur-
Sembilan. Nama asalnya Pondok Rasah dan diasaskan
oleh ulama tempatan yang mahsyur iaitu Allahyarham
Sheikh Haji Ahmad Bin Sheikh Haji Mohd Said Al Linggi.
Seremban.
9. Di Madrasah As' Saidiyah , Allahyarham Dato' Haji Abu
Hassan telah menimba pelbagai ilmu pengetahuan
antaranya ilmu tauhid , fekah, tasawwur, tafsir, hadith,
tajwid, nahu balaghah, saraf, nusyuz, imla' dan bayan. Pelbagi
depan pelajar mana kala pelajar tekun mendengar sambil
mencatatkan perkara penting.
sehinggalah masuk waktu maghrib.
bersungguh-sungguh.
12. Para pelajar diwajibkan menunaikan solat fardhu
secara berjemaah , sentiasa berambut pendek,
memastikan kebersihan kawasan pondok, wajib
memakai songkak atau ketayap dipersekitan
madrasah, tidak dibenarkan memakai seluar pendek ,
dilatang menghisap rokok, tidak dibenarkan minum di
kedai-kedai makan orang bukan Islam, tidak
dibenrkan ponteng kuliah tanpa sebab, tidak
dibenarkan ke bandar Seremban atau pulang ke
kampung tanpa kebenaran daripada guru madrasah.
13. PENDIDIKAN ROHANI
Di Madrasah As- Sai'idiyyah, selain menimba ilmu
pengetahu agama, Allahyarham Dato' Haji Abu Hassan
Almarhum Shikh Hj
Ahmad sebgai guru yang mursyid amat menekankan
amalan zikir kepada murid-muridnya.
14. Sebagai contoh, setiap hari selepas solat manghrib
pelajar-pelajar akan disuruh berzikir beramai-ramai dengan
kuat sehinggalah masuk waktu isyak.
kilometer.
15. Pada bulan Ramadhan, madarasah As Syaidah mempunyai
Malahan
kadang-kadang Allahyarham Syeikh Haji Ahmad sendiri
membawa Allahyarham Dato' Haji Abu Hassan pergi bersama-sama.
mengasuh Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan hampir 3 tahun
lamanya. Sudah sampai masanya beliau 'dilepaskan' bagi menimba
ilmu di tempat lain. Lagipun usia Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan
mengantuk disorongkan bantal'
Apabila tiba musim haji tahun 1937, maka berangkatlah anak
citanya menimba ilmu pengetahuan.
19. Di Kota Suci ini, Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan , telah
menuntut ilmu selama hampir 8 tahun.
Abdullah Bin Sijang, bekas Qadhi daerah Port Dickson.Berkat
usaha gigih ketika keputusan Sijil Tinggi Darul Ulum Ad Diniyyah,
Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan muncul sebagai pelajar
terbaik, mengatasi pelajar cemerlang dari negara lain.
sungguh di Madrasah As 'Sai'idiyyah, beliau sememangnya
cincin.
Beliau juga pernah menimba pengalaman mengajar Al quran
selama setahun di Madrasah Al Fakhriyyah, sebuah sekolah
kepunyaan orang-orang India Muslim di Mekah.Di madrasah ini
beliau dibayar gaji sebanyak 50.00 Rial sebulan.
22. • Pada tahun 1948 (Selepas Perang Dunia Kedua Tamat) Allahyarham
Dato' Hj Abu Hassan pulang semula ke sekolah asal iaitu Darul
Ulum ad-Diniyyah.
sukarela.
• Pada musim haji ramai pembesar datang menunaikan haji
temasuklah YAB Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan, Dato' Abdul Malek
bin Yusof 1995. YAB telah bertemu dengan para pelajar Tanah
Melayu khususnya Negeri Sembilan.Kerika sesi pertemuan YAM
telah memberi motivasi dan bertukar pandangan dengan
pelajar.
Memandangkan Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan
pembiayaan Tabung Warisan Rembau.
24. Setelah lulus ujian kelayakan, pada 24 hb November
1951, Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan mula mendaftar di
universiti Al Azhar untuk memulakan pengajiannya.
Sesungguhnya kejayaan memasuki universiti Al Azhar amat
pengetahuan sehinggalah beliau berjaya memperoleh Ijazah
1957.
26. SUMBANGAN
Semasa di Madrasah As saidiyyah , kesungguhan beliau
dalam menuntut ilmu memang tidak boleh dinafikan .
Masa-masa lapang di rumah akan dihabiskan dengan
membaca kitab atau melayan kerenah anak-anak. Satu
perkara yang menjadi tabiatnya, Allahyarham tidak suka
berjalan-jalan ke bandar tanpa tujuan. Habis sahaja waktu
pendiam, namun beliau tetap mengambil tahu hal-hal
masyarakat dan jiran sekelilingnya. Sementelahan pula beliau
adalah Imam di Surau Besar Gedung Lalang, Ampangan yang
kebetulannya terletak bersebelahan rumahnya. Selama 24 tahun
memimpin surau ini , beliau berjaya mengimarahkannya dengan
pelbagai aktiviti yang memupuk hubungan muhibbah sesama
masyarakat. Antaranya ialah aktiviti membaca yassin pada
setiap malam jumaat, tahlil arwah, sambutan hari kebesaran
Islam, melaksanakan ibadah korban serta memimpin solat
aidilfitri dan aidiladha.
28. Pada setiap bulan Ramadhan , selepas solat suboh biasanya
ALLAHYARHAM Dato' Haji Abu Hassan akan menyampaikan
tazkirah ringkas. Beliau mengingatkan jemaah surau agar
Sebab itulah jika
berkelapangan, Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu Hassan sendiri akan
menyampaikan kuliah ilmu di surau ini.
29. Pada waktu-waktu tertentu Allahyarham Dato' Hj Abu
Hassan akan dijemput menjadi khatib dan
mengimamkan solat pada hari tersebut. Semasa
mengimami solat dan membaca doa suaranya nyaring
sedap didengar dan fasih mengikut lidah Arab.
Sekiranya makmum di belakang tidak mengenali
beliau, mereka pasti beranggapan, bahawa seorang
imam dari negara Arab telah dijemput mengimami
solat pada hari itu.
30. ANUGERAH DAN GELARAN
Pada tahun 1937 beliau berangkat keTimurTengah untuk menyambung
pelajarannya sehingga tahun 1945. Semasa pengajiannya beliau tergolong
- Mudir Sekolah Agama MenengahTinggi Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah (1959 –
1961)
- Kadhi Besar Negeri Sembilan yang Pertama (1961 - 1969)
- Pemangku Mufti Kerajaan Negeri Sembilan (1963 - 1969)
- Mufti Kerajaan Negeri Sembilan yang kedua (1969 - 1987)
pernah membezakan taraf seseorang. Kewibawaan
dan ketokohan beliau dalam perkhidmatan
membuatkan beliau menjawat dalam jawatan ini
selama 18 tahun. Beliau kembali ke rahmatullah pada
10 Zulkaedah 1414H/1993M.
