2. • Dropbox is cloud storage service that enables users to
store files on remote cloud servers and the ability to
share files within a synchronized format.
• Dropbox provides an online storage solution powered by
cloud computing service model of infrastructure as a
service (IaaS). Dropbox users are provided by an online
storage space hosted on Dropbox accessible anywhere
via the Internet. The storage space provides storage for
virtually any kind of fie type from documents, images,
videos etc.

3. • Dropbox founder Drew Houston conceived the Dropbox
concept after repeatedly forgetting his USB flash
drive while he was a student at MIT. In a 2009 "Meet the
Team" post on the Dropbox blog, he wrote that existing
services at the time "suffered problems with
Internet latency, large files, bugs, or just made me think
too much." He began making something for his personal
use, but then realized that it could benefit others with the
same problems.

•Sharing couldn’t be simpler in Dropbox

Office, you’ll be able to open Office files
within Dropbox on your mobile device
and, with a tap of the “edit” button, modify
the file. The updates will automatically
sync with Dropbox.

connection, simply mark them as a
“favorite.” Bonus: Dropbox will regularly
sync any edits made offline across your
account.
