2. The highlighter Tool is an Add-on.

3. Open the Add-on tab and then choose GET ADD-ONS.

4. Search for the Highlighter Tool.

5. It will show in the menu.

6. It may ask you to choose an account.

8. Choose HIGHLIGHT TOOL.

9. Choose START.

10. The HIGHLIGHT bar appears on the RIGHT.

11. Highlight text….

12. Highlight text, then choose color.

13. To add your highlights to the bottom of the page…..

14. Choose Export Highlighters BY COLOR.

15. Choose THIS DOCUMENT.

18. A legend will appear at the top.

19. Then all your highlights by category.

20. To share TEACHER highlight colors, choose SHARE
HIGHLIGHTERS.

21. Choose LINK TO DOCUMENT.

22. Codes will be generated. SHARE this doc in Google
Classroom as MAKE A COPY FOR EACH STUDENT.

23. Important:
Students must FIRST add the Add-on.
Then they can import highlighters.

24. Students open the CODED DOC and choose
IMPORT HIGHLIGHTERS.

25. Choose OK.
