Kohshi and Yuki visited Wat Pho temple in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, September 5, 2009 to learn about the country's ancient history. Wat Pho is the oldest royal temple, home to the reclining Buddha, the largest in Bangkok at 15-46 meters long. It also houses the sitting Buddha which contains the ashes of Rama I and is prayed at daily by monks. The standing Buddha is 10 meters high and was made 500 years ago in an original Thai style without Indian influence. Kohshi and Yuki both enjoyed learning about the three famous Buddhas and experiencing Thailand's culture and history.
