This document describes the steps taken in a dental implant surgery to replace a missing tooth. It involves drilling into the jawbone beyond the depth of the missing tooth socket, placing a tapered self-threading implant, covering the implant with a resorbable membrane, and allowing it to heal for 4 months. After healing, the implant is exposed and an abutment with bonded porcelain is placed to complete the restoration.
