 Work Experience: I have worked since I was 14 years old and have been a Carpenter in
construction during the last 18 years. I have usually held a lead position and have been an

 Volunteer Experience: I love to be of service to others and give my time freely to help another
when I can. I have spent much time at Drug/Alcohol treatment centers and throughout Alcoholics
Anonymous with clients/patients as a mentor/sponsor assisting them with early recovery. I have
had the opportunity to work with over 25 men and help give them hope to live a life free of alcohol
and drugs. I try to help with Student Government at UVU when service projects are available. I
was able to go to Salt Lake with them in September of 13’ to assist refuge families in learning how
to clean and make sure food was properly stored to avoid bacteria and disease. I have trained
with Hearts For Hospice in 2014 to begin volunteering with hospice patients.
 Leadership Experience: I am a strong leader and am currently the President of the UVU Ski and
Board Club. I have held a foreman/ lead carpenter position many times in construction and have
had the opportunity to teach and train many men over the years. I started a recovery meeting at
UVU fall semester of 2013 to give others the chance to obtain sobriety in the Health/Wellness
office and was the chairperson for that meeting. I was a Student Teaching Assistant for the
Anatomy Program at UVU for Fall semester of 2014.
 Certifications: Emergency Care & Safety Institute Course for Advanced First Aid and Adult, Child
& Infant CPR & AED completed 04/10/14. Completion of Utah CNA Centers training course and
clinicals at St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City. I will be testing soon and will obtain a State of Utah
CNA Certification.
