Geoffrey T. Crankshaw - A Brief of What I Do

Community Traffic Safety Program Project Coordinator for NWPA Region
5, working with law enforcement officers and Magisterial District
            Judges in 6 PA counties.

Through a team network, I present police departments with high
value programs to use in their respective precincts to reduce or
prevent accidents and fatalities on specific PA highways. I also
evaluate and budget for grants to make enforcement possible.

The primary team involves myself, the Region 5 Team Leader,
Andrea Bierer, and the Law Enforcement Liaison, John Conti.

The programs target the three most lethal behaviors while operating
a vehicle or motorcycle in PA:

            - The failure to use Seat Belts
            - Aggressive Driving
            - Impaired Driving (DUI)
            The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation/
Bureau of Highway Safety & Traffic Engineering
