The World Health Organization (WHO)
defined health in its broader sense in 1946 as
“A state of complete physical, mental, and
social well-being and not merely the absence
of disease or infirmity."

To obtain a good state of health we
must practice some activities or
behaviors that help us to achieve this
state. We call these behaviors:

1_ Eating a balanced diet:
These are examples to have a good balanced diet
Drink a lot of water: helps to purify the body, removes
toxins, helps us digest food better, accelerates
metabolism work
High fiber foods: helps to prevent diabetes and obesity

Limit salt: we avoid developing hypertension and other
cardiovascular diseases.
Chew each mouthful 20-30 times: This is very important
to help the digestion
With adequate food cardiovascular disease, obesity,
osteoporosis, etc. are prevented

summarized in two fundamental ideas: Moderation and

Being fit means a general fitness, which allows you to perform any type of
activity. This physical state is composed of a good cardio-respiratory
fitness, muscular fitness, flexibility and proper body composition.
To all this things we can also add some other important factors that you
obtain like:
A way to relax and forget the rest.
To have new relationship, with other players to meet new people.
To sleep and take a rest better.
Be happier
If you practice sport, you are going to feel better with yourself and your
body, and is going to help you with the rest

7_ Sleep
Sleep is one of the most important functions of our body and
we should not live it. It’s during sleep when our body is
getting forces again. Some motives why we have to sleep
are:
Keeps our heart healthy
Reduce the stress
Increase the memory
Reduces the risk of depression
Make us more active
When you practise sports you must do:
Sleep at least eight hours the day before.
Have breakfast/lunch one hour before the match.
Drink a lot of water during the match, before and after.
Do a general warm-up especially with the parts of our body that more are
going to work.
At the end, when you finish, stretch while the muscles to prevent injury
