Islam teaches that women are to be evaluated for their
intelligence, opinions, skills, deeds and inner qualities
rather than physical appearance. A Muslim woman who
covers her body is making a statement about herself and
her identity; she has dignity, respectability, self-esteem
and is proud of her Islam. Whoever sees her will know
that she is not available to men or interested in
advances, that she has an upright moral character, and
that she will not permit sexuality to enter into any of
her necessary interactions with the opposite sex.
Women often see their Islamic dress as empowering
because they are taken seriously and respected rather
than being viewed as sex objects – they are judged only
by their character and conduct.

can a skeptic explain these without our Creator?
According to Islam, one of the greatest injustices humans can commit is to deny God’s existence, add partners to Him or worship worldly ideals or materialistic goals. Islam teaches that God is the Creator, Sustainer and Nourisher of every being in the heavens and the earth. As His creation, it is His right that we worship and obey Him. He showers us with His blessings every day out of His love and mercy. Worshiping Him is an expression of gratitude to God, and ignoring Him or worshiping others is ungratefulness and a denial of His blessings.

How to Become a Muslim?
Becoming a Muslim is a simple and easy process. All that a person has to do is to say a sentence called the Testimony of Faith (Shahada), which is pronounced as:
“ashhadu alla ilaha ilal Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”
These Arabic words mean, “I testify that There is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God.”
Once a person says the Testimony of Faith (Shahada) with conviction and understanding its meaning, then he/she has become a Muslim.
Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes.
This is the definition of Allah/God from Qur’an:
1. Say, “He is God, the One.
2. God, the Absolute.
3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4. And there is nothing comparable to Him.”

The Quran answers such questions as where we came from, why we exist and what we should do. This Book describes the existence, the unity, the power and the mercy of God. The Quran speaks of God, and introduces God as the Merciful, the Creator and the Forgiver. The description of God is the most important message of the Quran.
In order to worship God, we have to know Him well otherwise we may form a distorted concept of Him and then go astray. God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine and he is the only one worthy of worship.
There is nothing similar to God.

Notes From Prison By Alija Izetbegović PDFFatima Karim
Notes from Prison is Alija Izetbegovic’s spiritual escape to freedom. Being politically imprisoned by the Communist regime in Yugoslavia for long years at Foca jail in Sarajevo, former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Alija Izetbegovic jotted down these immeasurably valuable philosophical notes on diverse topics. He saved the notes from the searching eyes of jailers and smuggled out all the 13 notebooks with the help of a fellow prisoner. A book with irresistible emotional charm and intellectual provocation with powerful epigrammatic ponderings, Notes from Prison outstandingly unique reading, both in form and content.
Alija Izetbegović, the first President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992) and the author of several books, most notably " Islam Between East and West " and " Islamic Declaration ".
After the creation of Adam, just one original message has been repeatedly delivered to mankind throughout the history of humanity.
Thus, to remind people about it and bring them back on track, many prophets and messengers including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad were sent by the only true God to convey this message :
The true God is only ONE.
Worship Him ALONE and
keep His commandments

Just One Message : is a book to those who seek the truth sincerely, honestly, and open-mindedly.
Who is Allah?
- Do Muslims worship the same God as the Jews and Christians?
- What does the word Allah mean?
- Is Allah the Moon-god?
- What do Muslims believe about God ?
- Concept of God in Islam
Monotheism, belief in one God, is the most important and foundational concept in Islam. Muslims believe in one God who created the universe and has power over everything within it. He is unique and exalted above everything He creates, and His greatness cannot be compared to His creation. Furthermore, He is the only one deserving of any worship and the ultimate purpose of all creation is to submit to Him. The Islamic understanding of God is distinct from all other religions and beliefs in various respects since it is based on a pure and clear understanding of monotheism. This essentially captures the concept of God in Islam, which will be further elaborated in this pamphlet.
Muslims often refer to God as Allah. This is a universal name for God and does not refer to an exclusively ‘Islamic’ God. Interestingly, this name is related to the Aramaic and Hebrew names for God, Allaha and Elohim. Therefore, Allah is simply the Arabic name for God which affirms that He is One singular God with no partners or equals. The name Allah cannot be pluralized or limited to a specific gender, which establishes that God is One and that He is unique from everything He creates. Muslims continue to use this original Arabic name for God (Allah) since it perfectly expresses His unique qualities.
No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone. God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child. God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

The description of God is the most important message of the Quran.
The Arabic word Allah means God ,the one and only true God who created the whole universe which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God :
{ Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence }
{ The Quran 3:2 }
{ He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him }
{ The Quran 59:23 }
{ You alone we worship } { The Quran 1:5 }
The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except God. Associating partners with God or attributing qualities of lesser beings to Him is considered to be the greatest sin in Islam.
The most fundamental teaching of Islam is to believe in the Oneness of God, in the sense of His being the only Creator. Muslims believe that God has no father or mother, no son or daughter. None is equal to Him. He is God of all humankind, not of a special tribe or race.
In the Name of God, the Lord of Grace, the Ever Merciful.
﴾ Say: He is God, the One and only God (1)
the Eternal, the Absolute. (2)
He begets none, nor is He begotten, (3)
and there is nothing that could be compared to Him. (4) ﴿
[ The Quran 112 ]
these 4 Verses equals one-third of the Quran according to Prophet Muhammad ,Peace Be Upon Him.
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
[ 1 Say, ‘He is God, the One, 2 God, the Self-sufficient One. 3 He does not give birth, nor was He born, 4 and there is nothing like Him.’ ]
{ The Quran 112 }
This chapter of the Quran is about the oneness of God. The concept of Godhas been presented here in its purest form, ridding it of all polluting associations which people of every age have brought to it. There is no plurality of gods. There is only one God. All are dependent upon Him, but He is not dependent on anybody. He Himself has power over everything. He is far above being the progeny of anybody or having any offspring. He is such a unique being that there is nobody like Him or equal to Him in any manner whatsoever.
The doctrine of God’s pure unity, or The Divine oneness, is clearly stated here: God is not many , He is only One. Everyone is in need of Him ,but He is not in need of anyone. He reigns over all things of the heavens and the earth. Unlike human beings , He has no son or father. He is eternal ,without beginning or end, and is thus a Unique Being who has no equal.

He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Head covers Hijab
1. 12/1/2020 Head Covers (Hijab) — GainPeace
https://www.gainpeace.com/misconceptions/hijab 1/3
The Islamic veil or "hijab" refers to the loose-fitting,
opaque outer garments with which a Muslim woman
covers her head and body. Muslim women cover
themselves with such garments before all men apart
from their closest relatives. They do not do so to please
their fathers, brothers or husbands, but only because
God has ordained it. In reality, Islam did not introduce
modest dress but merely endorsed it as part of God's
religion. Yet, dress is only one aspect of a total
concept. "Hijab" is not merely a concealing garment
but includes proper behavior, manners, speech and
appearance in public.
In order to accept any law or instruction, a person needs
either to be convinced of the benefit behind it or to trust
in the wisdom of the one who prescribed it. Muslims
believe that the wisdom of God is absolute and perfect
and that He knows the nature and best interests of His
creations (mankind included) better than they do
themselves; thus, a believer willingly obeys God's
directives as much as he or she is able.
To some, the matter of women's dress might seem
trivial. Islam, however, assigns to it moral, social and
legal dimensions. When women observe the proper
Islamic dress, they protect their own honor and
reputation and contribute greatly towards peace and
order in society.
Modesty is a virtue which Islam demands of both men
and women, not only for the protection of women but to
maintain the spiritual uprightness of men. In view of
the sexual anarchy that prevails in many parts of the
world, the need for modest dress and behavior in both

men and women is obvious. However, on account of
differences between males and females in nature and
temperament, a greater amount of privacy is required
for women than for men, and this relates, among other
things, to their manner of dress.
Islam has no fixed standard as to the style of dress or
type of clothing that must be worn. However, it must be
wide and thick enough as not to reveal the contours of
the figure. Muslim women are responsible for making
their homes attractive and comfortable, and Islam
encourages a woman to beautify herself for her husband
and immediate family members rather than publicly
exhibiting her physical charms and worldly possessions.
Muslim women who cover themselves do not find it
impractical or interfering with their activities in the
various fields of life. It is often forgotten that the
modern Western style of dress is a recent phenomenon.
Looking at the clothing of women as recently as seventy
years ago, we see that it is similar to the dress
prescribed by Islam. Those hard-working, active
Western women were not at all inhibited by their long,
full dresses and head coverings.
The covering of women's bodies is not a logical basis on
which to claim that women are subservient to men. It
would be far more appropriate to charge a society with
exploitation of females when it tolerates pornography
rather than when it encourages modesty. It is ironic that
uncontested freedom is granted to those who choose to
publicly expose much of their bodies, while severe
censure is launched against women who consider that

modest covering is a religious obligation that cannot be
disregarded.
