African elephants weight can be 6 t. Its
height can be 4 metres.

4. The elephant eats leaves, grass
and pistachioe nuts.

5. The elephant gives birth to baby
elephants. It has got one baby
elephant every two years.

6. There are 500.000 elephants left
today.

7. What are the dangers the
elephants face?
• People hunt them because they want the
elephant’s tooth
• People cut the trees and elephant can’t
eat

• 1. We mustn’t hunt them.
