11. My Maternal Background The Bohemians were generational farmers who settled in Wisconsin. My grandmother, Catherine Adametz (photo on far left), was raised on a farm in southwestern Wisconsin. She had an older sister Emily and two brothers, Bill and Jim (pictured on left).
