A hair transplant is a surgical procedure where hair follicles are removed from one part of the body and placed in a bald or balding area. Follicular Unit Extraction is a hair transplant technique where a micromotor is used to harvest hair follicles with minimal scarring, and the follicles are implanted using either a slit and stick method or DHI method.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is
a technique used for hair
transplantation. In this
technique, we use a specialized
micromotor to harvest the hair
follicles so that the linear scar is
avoided, which is called
Follicular Unit Transaction(FUT)
technique and this is currently
used only for few indications.
Implantation of hair follicles to a
donor is done by using Slit and
Stick method and the DHI
method.
