P O RT F O L I O GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS - WALKABILITY W alkability research project presented at the 2012 national American Planning Association conference – This project was completed within the framework of a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) class at San Jose State University, San Jose, California and explores the relationship between urban form and walk- amenities such as parks, restaurants, schools, etc. Its focus is primarily on land use rather than form: http://www.walkscore.com/ 3. Public Life Survey - this survey was conducted by the City of San Francisco as part of the ability. Market Street in San Francisco was chosen as a case study.
