In Palanjek a weir is proposed, instead of a sluice, providing capacity to fill Lonjsko Polje. Furthermore, it is proposed to build the Trebezˇ II sluice, to connect Lonjsko Polje with Mokro Polje. In this plan, the maximum detention capacity is supposed to increase to 733 Mm3 (Brundic´ et al., 2001). This plan will be further referred to as the WB-plan
