Girl Scout SWAPS are crafts that girls create and trade with each other to promote friendship. SWAPS should represent the girl or her troop and can be worn, used or displayed. Examples of SWAPS include paper stars made from cutting and gluing paper into star shapes and attaching a safety pin. Girls are encouraged to be creative with recycled materials and make enough SWAPS for everyone at an event to swap. SWAPS trading helps girls meet new friends which is an important part of Girl Scouting.
