This presentation discusses some of the least explored places in Nagaland, India. It introduces Mopungchuket village, an Ao village about 15km from Mokokchung town, known for its lake with boating facilities and tourist hut. Another site is the giant chessboard in Dimapur, dating back to the Dimasa Kachari kingdom. The Kohima World War 2 cemetery memorializes soldiers from various countries who died there during World War 2. The presentation concludes that while Nagaland remains one of the lesser known states in North East India due to its geography and infrastructure, tourism initiatives will help open up more remote areas to exploration.
