Grandparent's Day will be held on September 8, 2012 from 10am to 4pm at the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum to celebrate intergenerational families with fun and educational activities for children and grandparents, including tours, sewing classes, craft activities, contests, and a lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken. Advance reservations are requested by September 7th for the event co-sponsored by the LA County DCFS Kinship Support Division.

The Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum is holding its first
ever event celebrating intergenerational families.
This is an event for all ages. There will be fun and educational
activities for children and their grandparents.
Lunch will include Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Chicken with
all the fixings.
• Tours every 20 minutes.
• Sewing Classes every hour on the hour with twelve spots
available per class. Learn how to make a water bottle bag or
pocket bag.
• Brick making, Candle making, and costume activity every
30 minutes.
• Coloring Book Contest
• Flying Contest- Balsa Wood Planes cost $0.50 cents each.
