Introducing the All-New Peace River Chrysler and Peace River Ford!
With two brand new facilities, our Peace River domestic stores have doubled in size. Chrysler is now housed in
a 22,000 sq ft building with 11 service bays, 2 detail bays, and a showroom to rival metro Edmonton dealerships.
Ford’s new building is a whopping 30,000 sq ft, and is home to “the shop of all shops,” as Kelly Whalen so
eloquently puts it, because it has 20 service bays! Both buildings maintain that small town feel everyone loves,
but they now accommodate big city volume. With an influx of new staff due to the larger facilities, the total staff
of both stores will soon exceed 100 people. With the best staff and the best facilities in the region, we’re looking

INGREDIENTS:
¾ CUP MILK
2 TBSP LEMON JUICE
1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 TBSP WHITE SUGAR
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
½ TSP BAKING SODA
½ TSP SALT
½ TSP CINNAMON
1 EGG
2 TBSP BUTTER, MELTED
¼ CUP FRESH BLUEBERRIES
(FROZEN CAN ALSO BE USED)
Here is a fluffy blueberry lemon pancake
recipe perfect for Breakfast or Brunch.
METHOD:
• Combine milk & vinegar and set aside for a few minutes
to “sour”
• Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt &
cinnamon
• Whisk egg and melted butter into “soured” milk
• Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mix and whisk
until no lumps. Be careful not to overmix! Gently stir
in blueberries.
• Heat pan to medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
Pour ¼ cup fulls of batter into the pan. Cook until
bubbles appear on the surface then flip and cook until
browned.
• Can be served with syrup, fresh berries, icing sugar,
or whipped cream.

Egan, Service Manager for Go Nissan North had one
focus that he was not shy to share with his team, GM
and the other Go Auto service managers. He was
going to win the “Win my Ride” chair offered by Dan
Rideout, VP Fixed Operations. To win, you had to beat
your net forecast, and you were entered in a draw to
take home the chair. Service had 13 stores achieve
this goal, but only one could win. Damon printed a
picture of the chair and put it on his desk, and told
everyone that came into his office, “The chair is mine.”
Not only did his team step up to ensure his chance
to win, they themselves broke personal best hours
produced results as well! Congratulations Damon,
positive thinking and hard work equals results.

11. The 17th Annual GO AUTO Bowl for Children does it again
A record $48,000 raised for the Children’s Ability Fund
27 lanes full of enthusiastic participants and local celebrities raised money
to support the Children’s Ability Fund. For over 65 years, the Fund has
raised funds to purchase specialized equipment for people with disabilities.

12. Make-A-Wish® Northern Alberta’s
Surprise Wish Reveal at Norden Volkswagen
On April 27, Make-A-Wish® hosted a surprise
Wish Reveal at Norden Volkswagen where
a young boy learned his wish was coming true.
Thanks to the generosity of Norden Volkswagen, 10-year-old wish child, Tristan,
who suffers from a connective tissue disease, learned that his wish to go to
Autostadt, (the Volkswagen Car City) in Wolfsburg, Germany, was coming true!
Tristan will get to visit Autostadt's car museum, driver’s licensing area, and much
more. In addition, he will visit Miniature Wunderland (a model railway attraction)
and the Lubeck Marzipan Factory.
"We're so honoured to be a part of Tristan's special day," said Phil Abram, General
Manager of Norden Volkswagen. "We couldn’t be happier for him, for this chance
to live out his dream of visiting Autostadt. To be even a small part of that journey
makes us extremely proud, and we hope his trip is every bit as inspiring as he is."
